It was in a dance party that I heard the song for the first time. I was just ready to invite a girl to dance when the song suddenly struck my ears. I enjoyed the beautiful music immediately and forgot the beautiful girl. Standing there quietly, I was listening to the song carefully. I was surprised and moved by it deeply. I felt something that had been fast asleep in my memory for thousands of years was waken up. There was a voice shouting at me again and again: 揃ack in Lhasa, back in Lhasa.”

I bought the tape next day and listened to it over and over. The song shows me a wonderful view: blue clear sky, green extensive grasslands, snow mountains, limpid river, mysterious temple, and lovely girls. I really look forward to visiting Tibet, and staying in Lhasa.

I have no religous believes, but I have a conviction in my inner heart. I believe in Truth, Goodness, Beauty, Freedom and Equality. This world where we live is becoming more and more complicated, however, I still wish to live a simple life. Back in Lhasa, back in our common home. In a sense, we could take Lhasa as our home of spirts. Only if we have been to Lhasa, aren抰 we tramps any longer.
